In 2004 we were proud to introduce our first line of Hellboy action figures based on the comic book action adventure film adaptation Hellboy, from Revolution Studios (released in 2004). As with all of our products, we have gone to great lengths to ensure that fans of both the Hellboy comics by Dark Horse and the feature film will be enamored with the final product. Our initial Hellboy lineup consisted of five 7" scale hyper-detailed figures. Series 1 included the heroic Hellboy and Abe Sapien, as well as the villainous Kroenen, Sammael, and Rasputin (with Hellbaby). Each figure features 18-22 mind-boggling points of articulation. An 18-inch deluxe Hellboy rotocast figure was released simultaneous with the 8-inch line. This massively breathtaking figure featured the same innovative detail that we've made famous with our other rotocast lines. A battle-damaged version of this figure was available exclusively at Tower Records. As if 18 hellish inches of Hellboy wasn't enough to whet your appetite, we also produced pocket-sized Hellboy Mez-Itzâ?? mini figures. Rendered in 3-inch scale were Hellboy, Kronen, Sammael, Abe, and Rasputin, each packaged in blister-carded two-packs.
